Thank you for choosing to support The West Tennessee Healthcare Foundation. Through your generous donation, The Foundation can continue to support the philanthropic initiatives that bring our community together.
The donation form will allow you to enter any details for your honorarium or memorial gift including the name of the honoree and any individuals to whom we should acknowledge the gift.
For alternative methods of giving such as checks, stock, Donor Advised Funds, or planned gifts, or if you have any questions, please contact The Foundation office at (731) 984-2140.
What are you passionate about? Do you have a vision to start a charitable project, knowing there is a need, but not knowing where to begin? We can help them turn your vision into reality.
A Community Project Fund allows an individual or group to operate as a 501(c)(3) organization under the umbrella of The Foundation. As your Fiscal Sponsor, The Foundation becomes the tax-exempt organization that allows you to receive charitable contributions from individuals, foundations, corporations, and government agencies that may not otherwise be available to you. Under the supervision of The Foundation, these contributions are used exclusively for charitable purposes. The Foundation also provides back office services to your organization (e.g. acknowledgement of tax-deductible donations, invoice payments, bookkeeping and IRS reporting requirements).
Community Project Funds are subject to approval. Please contact The Foundation for more information on how you can turn your vision into a reality.
Have you ever thought about having your own foundation to fulfill your philanthropic goals? A donor advised fund makes philanthropy simple. Donors can create an account with an initial gift and recommend grants to their favorite charities at their convenience.
These assets will be invested in a professionally managed portfolio, allowing the account to grow tax free. These accounts have many tax advantages, including avoiding capital gains by donating appreciated securities. A donor advised fund (DAF) gives you many of the benefits of a family foundation without the trouble of administering one.
Gifts of cash, stock, real estate or any other appreciated assets may be used to establish a DAF. Once established, gifts of any size may be made to the DAF at any time in order to maximize the tax benefits of the donor. For more information on establishing a Donor Advised Fund, please contact Stephanie Fowler at (731) 984-2140.
What if your investment could provide for community needs not just in your lifetime, but forever?
Through an endowment at The Foundation, you can. Endowments are permanent funds where the principal is invested, while a portion of the fund is distributed annually to your philanthropic causes--continuing your rich tradition of charitable giving always.
The Foundation can help you chart your legacy with an estate planning gift to support one or more causes that are dear to you.
Thanks to the generosity of our donors who are dedicated to investing in students’ futures, The Foundation manages over 20 scholarship funds. Some scholarships help students from a particular school or area; others provide financial assistance to those pursuing a specific field of study; still others assist students most in need. Below you will see a list of scholarships that are open for application. Follow the links provided for more information on each scholarship.
